讬 讬讜ֹ专讜ּ 诪ִ砖ְׁ驻ָּ讟ֶ讬讱ָ 诇ְ讬ַ注ֲ拽ֹ讘, 讜ְ转讜ֹ专ָ转ְ讱ָ 诇ְ讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇; 讬ָ砖ִׂ讬诪讜ּ 拽ְ讟讜ֹ专ָ讛 讘ְּ讗ַ驻ֶּ讱ָ, 讜ְ讻ָ诇ִ讬诇 注ַ诇-诪ִ讝ְ讘ְּ讞ֶ讱ָ. 10
They shall teach Jacob Thine ordinances, and Israel Thy Torah; they shall put incense before Thee, and whole burnt-offering upon Thine altar.
讬讗 讘ָּ专ֵ讱ְ 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讞ֵ讬诇讜ֹ, 讜ּ驻ֹ注ַ诇 讬ָ讚ָ讬讜 转ִּ专ְ爪ֶ讛; 诪ְ讞ַ抓 诪ָ转ְ谞ַ讬ִ诐 拽ָ诪ָ讬讜 讜ּ诪ְ砖ַׂ谞ְ讗ָ讬讜, 诪ִ谉-讬ְ拽讜ּ诪讜ּ谉. {住} 11
Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise up against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again. {S}

Of Benjamin he said:
The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him; He covereth him all the day, and He dwelleth between his shoulders. {S}

And of Joseph he said:
Blessed of the LORD be his land; for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
讬讚 讜ּ诪ִ诪ֶּ讙ֶ讚, 转ְּ讘讜ּ讗ֹ转 砖ָׁ诪ֶ砖ׁ; 讜ּ诪ִ诪ֶּ讙ֶ讚, 讙ֶּ专ֶ砖ׁ 讬ְ专ָ讞ִ讬诐. 14
And for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, and for the precious things of the yield of the moons,
讟讜 讜ּ诪ֵ专ֹ讗砖ׁ, 讛ַ专ְ专ֵ讬-拽ֶ讚ֶ诐; 讜ּ诪ִ诪ֶּ讙ֶ讚, 讙ִּ讘ְ注讜ֹ转 注讜ֹ诇ָ诐. 15
And for the tops of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the everlasting hills,
讟讝 讜ּ诪ִ诪ֶּ讙ֶ讚, 讗ֶ专ֶ抓 讜ּ诪ְ诇ֹ讗ָ讛ּ, 讜ּ专ְ爪讜ֹ谉 砖ֹׁ讻ְ谞ִ讬, 住ְ谞ֶ讛; 转ָּ讘讜ֹ讗转ָ讛 诇ְ专ֹ讗砖ׁ 讬讜ֹ住ֵ祝, 讜ּ诇ְ拽ָ讚ְ拽ֹ讚 谞ְ讝ִ讬专 讗ֶ讞ָ讬讜. 16
And for the precious things of the earth and the fulness thereof, and the good will of Him that dwelt in the bush; let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that is prince among his brethren.
讬讝 讘ְּ讻讜ֹ专 砖ׁ讜ֹ专讜ֹ 讛ָ讚ָ专 诇讜ֹ, 讜ְ拽ַ专ְ谞ֵ讬 专ְ讗ֵ诐 拽ַ专ְ谞ָ讬讜--讘ָּ讛ֶ诐 注ַ诪ִּ讬诐 讬ְ谞ַ讙ַּ讞 讬ַ讞ְ讚ָּ讜, 讗ַ驻ְ住ֵ讬-讗ָ专ֶ抓; 讜ְ讛ֵ诐 专ִ讘ְ讘讜ֹ转 讗ֶ驻ְ专ַ讬ִ诐, 讜ְ讛ֵ诐 讗ַ诇ְ驻ֵ讬 诪ְ谞ַ砖ֶּׁ讛. {住} 17
His firstling bullock, majesty is his; and his horns are the horns of the wild-ox; with them he shall gore the peoples all of them, even the ends of the earth; and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh. {S}
讬讞 讜ְ诇ִ讝ְ讘讜ּ诇ֻ谉 讗ָ诪ַ专, 砖ְׂ诪ַ讞 讝ְ讘讜ּ诇ֻ谉 讘ְּ爪ֵ讗转ֶ讱ָ; 讜ְ讬ִ砖ָּׂ砖讻ָ专, 讘ְּ讗ֹ讛ָ诇ֶ讬讱ָ. 18
And of Zebulun he said:
Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out, and, Issachar, in thy tents.
讬讟 注ַ诪ִּ讬诐, 讛ַ专-讬ִ拽ְ专ָ讗讜ּ--砖ָׁ诐, 讬ִ讝ְ讘ְּ讞讜ּ 讝ִ讘ְ讞ֵ讬-爪ֶ讚ֶ拽: 讻ִּ讬 砖ֶׁ驻ַ注 讬ַ诪ִּ讬诐 讬ִ讬谞ָ拽讜ּ, 讜ּ砖ְׂ驻ֻ谞ֵ讬 讟ְ诪讜ּ谞ֵ讬 讞讜ֹ诇. {住} 19
They shall call peoples unto the mountain; there shall they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they shall suck the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand. {S}
讻 讜ּ诇ְ讙ָ讚 讗ָ诪ַ专, 讘ָּ专讜ּ讱ְ 诪ַ专ְ讞ִ讬讘 讙ָּ讚: 讻ְּ诇ָ讘ִ讬讗 砖ָׁ讻ֵ谉, 讜ְ讟ָ专ַ祝 讝ְ专讜ֹ注ַ 讗ַ祝-拽ָ讚ְ拽ֹ讚. 20
And of Gad he said:
Blessed be He that enlargeth Gad; he dwelleth as a lioness, and teareth the arm, yea, the crown of the head.
讻讗 讜ַ讬ַּ专ְ讗 专ֵ讗砖ִׁ讬转 诇讜ֹ, 讻ִּ讬-砖ָׁ诐 讞ֶ诇ְ拽ַ转 诪ְ讞ֹ拽ֵ拽 住ָ驻讜ּ谉; 讜ַ讬ֵּ转ֵ讗, 专ָ讗砖ֵׁ讬 注ָ诐--爪ִ讚ְ拽ַ转 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 注ָ砖ָׂ讛, 讜ּ诪ִ砖ְׁ驻ָּ讟ָ讬讜 注ִ诐-讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇. {住} 21 And he chose a first part for himself, for there a portion of a ruler was reserved; and there came the heads of the people, he executed the righteousness of the LORD, and His ordinances with Israel. {S}
讻讘 讜ּ诇ְ讚ָ谉 讗ָ诪ַ专, 讚ָּ谉 讙ּ讜ּ专 讗ַ专ְ讬ֵ讛; 讬ְ讝ַ谞ֵּ拽, 诪ִ谉-讛ַ讘ָּ砖ָׁ谉. 22
And of Dan he said:
Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.
讻讙 讜ּ诇ְ谞ַ驻ְ转ָּ诇ִ讬 讗ָ诪ַ专--谞ַ驻ְ转ָּ诇ִ讬 砖ְׂ讘ַ注 专ָ爪讜ֹ谉, 讜ּ诪ָ诇ֵ讗 讘ִּ专ְ讻ַּ转 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛; 讬ָ诐 讜ְ讚ָ专讜ֹ诐, 讬ְ专ָ砖ָׁ讛. {住} 23
And of Naphtali he said:
O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD:
possess thou the sea and the south. {S}
讻讚 讜ּ诇ְ讗ָ砖ֵׁ专 讗ָ诪ַ专, 讘ָּ专讜ּ讱ְ 诪ִ讘ָּ谞ִ讬诐 讗ָ砖ֵׁ专; 讬ְ讛ִ讬 专ְ爪讜ּ讬 讗ֶ讞ָ讬讜, 讜ְ讟ֹ讘ֵ诇 讘ַּ砖ֶּׁ诪ֶ谉 专ַ讙ְ诇讜ֹ. 24
And of Asher he said:
Blessed be Asher above sons; let him be the favoured of his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
讻讛 讘ַּ专ְ讝ֶ诇 讜ּ谞ְ讞ֹ砖ֶׁ转, 诪ִ谞ְ注ָ诇ֶ讱ָ; 讜ּ讻ְ讬ָ诪ֶ讬讱ָ, 讚ָּ讘ְ讗ֶ讱ָ. 25
Iron and brass shall be thy bars; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
讻讜 讗ֵ讬谉 讻ָּ讗ֵ诇, 讬ְ砖ֻׁ专讜ּ谉: 专ֹ讻ֵ讘 砖ָׁ诪ַ讬ִ诐 讘ְּ注ֶ讝ְ专ֶ讱ָ, 讜ּ讘ְ讙ַ讗ֲ讜ָ转讜ֹ 砖ְׁ讞ָ拽ִ讬诐. 26
There is none like unto God, O Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven as thy help, and in His excellency on the skies.
讬 讬讜ֹ专讜ּ 诪ִ砖ְׁ驻ָּ讟ֶ讬讱ָ 诇ְ讬ַ注ֲ拽ֹ讘, 讜ְ转讜ֹ专ָ转ְ讱ָ 诇ְ讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇; 讬ָ砖ִׂ讬诪讜ּ 拽ְ讟讜ֹ专ָ讛 讘ְּ讗ַ驻ֶּ讱ָ, 讜ְ讻ָ诇ִ讬诇 注ַ诇-诪ִ讝ְ讘ְּ讞ֶ讱ָ. 10

讻讞 讻ִּ讬-讙讜ֹ讬 讗ֹ讘ַ讚 注ֵ爪讜ֹ转, 讛ֵ诪ָּ讛; {专} 讜ְ讗ֵ讬谉 讘ָּ讛ֶ诐, 转ְּ讘讜ּ谞ָ讛. {住} 28
For they are a nation void of counsel, and there is no understanding in them.
讻讟 诇讜ּ 讞ָ讻ְ诪讜ּ, 讬ַ砖ְׂ讻ִּ讬诇讜ּ 讝ֹ讗转; {专} 讬ָ讘ִ讬谞讜ּ, 诇ְ讗ַ讞ֲ专ִ讬转ָ诐. {住} 29
If they were wise, they would understand this, they would discern their latter end.

How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had given them over and the LORD had delivered them up?
诇讗 讻ִּ讬 诇ֹ讗 讻ְ爪讜ּ专ֵ谞讜ּ, 爪讜ּ专ָ诐; {专} 讜ְ讗ֹ讬ְ讘ֵ讬谞讜ּ, 驻ְּ诇ִ讬诇ִ讬诐. {住} 31
For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah; their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter;

Their wine is the venom of serpents, and the cruel poison of asps.

'Is not this laid up in store with Me, sealed up in My treasuries?

Vengeance is Mine, and recompense, against the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that are to come upon them shall make haste.

For the LORD will judge His people, and repent Himself for His servants; when He seeth that their stay is gone, and there is none remaining, shut up or left at large.

And it is said:
Where are their gods, the rock in whom they trusted;

Who did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink-offering? let him rise up and help you, let him be your protection.

See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me; I kill, and I make alive; I have wounded, and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand.

For I lift up My hand to heaven, and say:

If I whet My glittering sword, and My hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to Mine adversaries, and will recompense them that hate Me.

I will make Mine arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh; with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the long-haired heads of the enemy.'

Sing aloud, O ye nations, of His people; for He doth avenge the blood of His servants, and doth render vengeance to His adversaries, and doth make expiation for the land of His people. {P}

For they are a nation void of counsel, and there is no understanding in them.

But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked--
thou didst wax fat, thou didst grow thick, thou didst become gross--
and he forsook God who made him, and contemned the Rock of his salvation.

They roused Him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations did they provoke Him.
讬讝 讬ִ讝ְ讘ְּ讞讜ּ, 诇ַ砖ֵּׁ讚ִ讬诐 诇ֹ讗 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ַּ-- {专} 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ִ讬诐, 诇ֹ讗 讬ְ讚ָ注讜ּ诐; {住} 讞ֲ讚ָ砖ִׁ讬诐 诪ִ拽ָּ专ֹ讘 讘ָּ讗讜ּ, {专} 诇ֹ讗 砖ְׂ注ָ专讜ּ诐 讗ֲ讘ֹ转ֵ讬讻ֶ诐. {住} 17 They sacrificed unto demons, no-gods, gods that they knew not, new gods that came up of late, which your fathers dreaded not.
讬讞 爪讜ּ专 讬ְ诇ָ讚ְ讱ָ, 转ֶּ砖ִׁ讬; {专} 讜ַ转ִּ砖ְׁ讻ַּ讞, 讗ֵ诇 诪ְ讞ֹ诇ְ诇ֶ讱ָ. {住} 18
Of the Rock that begot thee thou wast unmindful, and didst forget God that bore thee.
讬讟 讜ַ讬ַּ专ְ讗 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛, 讜ַ讬ִּ谞ְ讗ָ抓, {专} 诪ִ讻ַּ注ַ住 讘ָּ谞ָ讬讜, 讜ּ讘ְ谞ֹ转ָ讬讜. {住} 19
And the LORD saw, and spurned, because of the provoking of His sons and His daughters.

'I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be; for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

They have roused Me to jealousy with a no-god; they have provoked Me with their vanities; and I will rouse them to jealousy with a no-people; I will provoke them with a vile nation.

For a fire is kindled in My nostril, and burneth unto the depths of the nether-world, and devoureth the earth with her produce, and setteth ablaze the foundations of the mountains.
讻讙 讗ַ住ְ驻ֶּ讛 注ָ诇ֵ讬诪讜ֹ, 专ָ注讜ֹ转; {专} 讞ִ爪ַּ讬, 讗ֲ讻ַ诇ֶּ讛-讘ָּ诐. {住} 23
I will heap evils upon them; I will spend Mine arrows upon them;

The wasting of hunger, and the devouring of the fiery bolt, and bitter destruction; and the teeth of beasts will I send upon them, with the venom of crawling things of the dust.
讻讛 诪ִ讞讜ּ抓, 转ְּ砖ַׁ讻ֶּ诇-讞ֶ专ֶ讘, 讜ּ诪ֵ讞ֲ讚ָ专ִ讬诐, 讗ֵ讬诪ָ讛; 讙ַּ诐-讘ָּ讞讜ּ专, {专} 讙ַּ诐-讘ְּ转讜ּ诇ָ讛--讬讜ֹ谞ֵ拽, 注ִ诐-讗ִ讬砖ׁ 砖ֵׂ讬讘ָ讛. {住} 25
Without shall the sword bereave, and in the chambers terror; slaying both young man and virgin, the suckling with the man of gray hairs.

I thought I would make an end of them, I would make their memory cease from among men;

Our hand is exalted, and not the LORD hath wrought all this.'

As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, hovereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her pinions--

But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked--

and he forsook God who made him, and contemned the Rock of his salvation.

'I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be; for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,

'Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck; behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?

Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.

For I know that after my death ye will in any wise deal corruptly, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the end of days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him through the work of your hands.'

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew; as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb.

For I will proclaim the name of the LORD; ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations; ask thy father, and he will declare unto thee, thine elders, and they will tell thee.

When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the children of men, He set the borders of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.
讟 讻ִּ讬 讞ֵ诇ֶ拽 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛, 注ַ诪ּ讜ֹ: {住} 讬ַ注ֲ拽ֹ讘, 讞ֶ讘ֶ诇 谞ַ讞ֲ诇ָ转讜ֹ. {专} 9
For the portion of the LORD is His people, Jacob the lot of His inheritance.

He found him in a desert land, and in the waste, a howling wilderness; He compassed him about, He cared for him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.

And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,

that Moses commanded the Levites, that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying:

'Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck; behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?

Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.

For I know that after my death ye will in any wise deal corruptly, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the end of days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him through the work of your hands.'

Give ear, ye heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew; as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb.

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel:
'Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt go with this people into the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.'

And Moses commanded them, saying:
'At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
讬讗 讘ְּ讘讜ֹ讗 讻ָ诇-讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇, 诇ֵ专ָ讗讜ֹ转 讗ֶ转-驻ְּ谞ֵ讬 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ, 讘ַּ诪ָּ拽讜ֹ诐, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讬ִ讘ְ讞ָ专: 转ִּ拽ְ专ָ讗 讗ֶ转-讛ַ转ּ讜ֹ专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转, 谞ֶ讙ֶ讚 讻ָּ诇-讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇--讘ְּ讗ָ讝ְ谞ֵ讬讛ֶ诐. 11
when all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which He shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
讬讘 讛ַ拽ְ讛ֵ诇 讗ֶ转-讛ָ注ָ诐, 讛ָ讗ֲ谞ָ砖ִׁ讬诐 讜ְ讛ַ谞ָּ砖ִׁ讬诐 讜ְ讛ַ讟ַּ祝, 讜ְ讙ֵ专ְ讱ָ, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讘ִּ砖ְׁ注ָ专ֶ讬讱ָ--诇ְ诪ַ注ַ谉 讬ִ砖ְׁ诪ְ注讜ּ 讜ּ诇ְ诪ַ注ַ谉 讬ִ诇ְ诪ְ讚讜ּ, 讜ְ讬ָ专ְ讗讜ּ 讗ֶ转-讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬讻ֶ诐, 讜ְ砖ָׁ诪ְ专讜ּ 诇ַ注ֲ砖ׂ讜ֹ转, 讗ֶ转-讻ָּ诇-讚ִּ讘ְ专ֵ讬 讛ַ转ּ讜ֹ专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转. 12
Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law;

and that their children, who have not known, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.' {P}

And the LORD said unto Moses:
'Behold, thy days approach that thou must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tent of meeting, that I may give him a charge.'
And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tent of meeting.

And the LORD appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud; and the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the Tent.

And the LORD said unto Moses:
'Behold, thou art about to sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go astray after the foreign gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake Me, and break My covenant which I have made with them.
讬讝 讜ְ讞ָ专ָ讛 讗ַ驻ִּ讬 讘讜ֹ 讘ַ讬ּ讜ֹ诐-讛ַ讛讜ּ讗 讜ַ注ֲ讝ַ讘ְ转ִּ讬诐 讜ְ讛ִ住ְ转ַּ专ְ转ִּ讬 驻ָ谞ַ讬 诪ֵ讛ֶ诐, 讜ְ讛ָ讬ָ讛 诇ֶ讗ֱ讻ֹ诇, 讜ּ诪ְ爪ָ讗ֻ讛讜ּ 专ָ注讜ֹ转 专ַ讘ּ讜ֹ转, 讜ְ爪ָ专讜ֹ转; 讜ְ讗ָ诪ַ专, 讘ַּ讬ּ讜ֹ诐 讛ַ讛讜ּ讗, 讛ֲ诇ֹ讗 注ַ诇 讻ִּ讬-讗ֵ讬谉 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ַ讬 讘ְּ拽ִ专ְ讘ִּ讬, 诪ְ爪ָ讗讜ּ谞ִ讬 讛ָ专ָ注讜ֹ转 讛ָ讗ֵ诇ֶּ讛. 17
Then My anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come upon them; so that they will say in that day:
Are not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?
讬讞 讜ְ讗ָ谞ֹ讻ִ讬, 讛ַ住ְ转ֵּ专 讗ַ住ְ转ִּ讬专 驻ָּ谞ַ讬 讘ַּ讬ּ讜ֹ诐 讛ַ讛讜ּ讗, 注ַ诇 讻ָּ诇-讛ָ专ָ注ָ讛, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 注ָ砖ָׂ讛: 讻ִּ讬 驻ָ谞ָ讛, 讗ֶ诇-讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ִ讬诐 讗ֲ讞ֵ专ִ讬诐. 18
And I will surely hide My face in that day for all the evil which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.
讬讟 讜ְ注ַ转ָּ讛, 讻ִּ转ְ讘讜ּ 诇ָ讻ֶ诐 讗ֶ转-讛ַ砖ִּׁ讬专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转, 讜ְ诇ַ诪ְּ讚ָ讛ּ 讗ֶ转-讘ְּ谞ֵ讬-讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇, 砖ִׂ讬诪ָ讛ּ 讘ְּ驻ִ讬讛ֶ诐: 诇ְ诪ַ注ַ谉 转ִּ讛ְ讬ֶ讛-诇ִּ讬 讛ַ砖ִּׁ讬专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转, 诇ְ注ֵ讚--讘ִּ讘ְ谞ֵ讬 讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇. 19
Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach thou it the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel.
讻 讻ִּ讬-讗ֲ讘ִ讬讗ֶ谞ּ讜ּ 讗ֶ诇-讛ָ讗ֲ讚ָ诪ָ讛 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专-谞ִ砖ְׁ讘ַּ注ְ转ִּ讬 诇ַ讗ֲ讘ֹ转ָ讬讜, 讝ָ讘ַ转 讞ָ诇ָ讘 讜ּ讚ְ讘ַ砖ׁ, 讜ְ讗ָ讻ַ诇 讜ְ砖ָׂ讘ַ注, 讜ְ讚ָ砖ֵׁ谉; 讜ּ驻ָ谞ָ讛 讗ֶ诇-讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ִ讬诐 讗ֲ讞ֵ专ִ讬诐, 讜ַ注ֲ讘ָ讚讜ּ诐, 讜ְ谞ִ讗ֲ爪讜ּ谞ִ讬, 讜ְ讛ֵ驻ֵ专 讗ֶ转-讘ְּ专ִ讬转ִ讬. 20
For when I shall have brought them into the land which I swore unto their fathers, flowing with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten their fill, and waxen fat; and turned unto other gods, and served them, and despised Me, and broken My covenant;
讻讗 讜ְ讛ָ讬ָ讛 讻ִּ讬-转ִ诪ְ爪ֶ讗谉ָ 讗ֹ转讜ֹ 专ָ注讜ֹ转 专ַ讘ּ讜ֹ转, 讜ְ爪ָ专讜ֹ转, 讜ְ注ָ谞ְ转ָ讛 讛ַ砖ִּׁ讬专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转 诇ְ驻ָ谞ָ讬讜 诇ְ注ֵ讚, 讻ִּ讬 诇ֹ讗 转ִ砖ָּׁ讻ַ讞 诪ִ驻ִּ讬 讝ַ专ְ注讜ֹ: 讻ִּ讬 讬ָ讚ַ注ְ转ִּ讬 讗ֶ转-讬ִ爪ְ专讜ֹ, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讛讜ּ讗 注ֹ砖ֶׂ讛 讛ַ讬ּ讜ֹ诐, 讘ְּ讟ֶ专ֶ诐 讗ֲ讘ִ讬讗ֶ谞ּ讜ּ, 讗ֶ诇-讛ָ讗ָ专ֶ抓 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 谞ִ砖ְׁ讘ַּ注ְ转ִּ讬. 21
then it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them, that this song shall testify before them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed; for I know their imagination how they do even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.'
讻讘 讜ַ讬ִּ讻ְ转ֹּ讘 诪ֹ砖ֶׁ讛 讗ֶ转-讛ַ砖ִּׁ讬专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转, 讘ַּ讬ּ讜ֹ诐 讛ַ讛讜ּ讗; 讜ַ讬ְ诇ַ诪ְּ讚ָ讛ּ, 讗ֶ转-讘ְּ谞ֵ讬 讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇. 22
So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.
讻讙 讜ַ讬ְ爪ַ讜 讗ֶ转-讬ְ讛讜ֹ砖ֻׁ注ַ 讘ִּ谉-谞讜ּ谉, 讜ַ讬ֹּ讗诪ֶ专 讞ֲ讝ַ拽 讜ֶ讗ֱ诪ָ抓--讻ִּ讬 讗ַ转ָּ讛 转ָּ讘ִ讬讗 讗ֶ转-讘ְּ谞ֵ讬 讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇, 讗ֶ诇-讛ָ讗ָ专ֶ抓 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专-谞ִ砖ְׁ讘ַּ注ְ转ִּ讬 诇ָ讛ֶ诐; 讜ְ讗ָ谞ֹ讻ִ讬, 讗ֶ讛ְ讬ֶ讛 注ִ诪ָּ讱ְ. 23
And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said:
'Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore unto them; and I will be with thee.'

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel:
'Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt go with this people into the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
讞 讜ַ讬讛讜ָ讛 讛讜ּ讗 讛ַ讛ֹ诇ֵ讱ְ 诇ְ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ, 讛讜ּ讗 讬ִ讛ְ讬ֶ讛 注ִ诪ָּ讱ְ--诇ֹ讗 讬ַ专ְ驻ְּ讱ָ, 讜ְ诇ֹ讗 讬ַ注ַ讝ְ讘ֶ讱ָּ; 诇ֹ讗 转ִ讬专ָ讗, 讜ְ诇ֹ讗 转ֵ讞ָ转. 8
And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.'
讟 讜ַ讬ִּ讻ְ转ֹּ讘 诪ֹ砖ֶׁ讛, 讗ֶ转-讛ַ转ּ讜ֹ专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转, 讜ַ讬ִּ转ְּ谞ָ讛ּ 讗ֶ诇-讛ַ讻ֹּ讛ֲ谞ִ讬诐 讘ְּ谞ֵ讬 诇ֵ讜ִ讬, 讛ַ谞ֹּ砖ְׂ讗ִ讬诐 讗ֶ转-讗ֲ专讜ֹ谉 讘ְּ专ִ讬转 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛; 讜ְ讗ֶ诇-讻ָּ诇-讝ִ拽ְ谞ֵ讬, 讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇. 9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
讬 讜ַ讬ְ爪ַ讜 诪ֹ砖ֶׁ讛, 讗讜ֹ转ָ诐 诇ֵ讗诪ֹ专: 诪ִ拽ֵּ抓 砖ֶׁ讘ַ注 砖ָׁ谞ִ讬诐, 讘ְּ诪ֹ注ֵ讚 砖ְׁ谞ַ转 讛ַ砖ְּׁ诪ִ讟ָּ讛--讘ְּ讞ַ讙 讛ַ住ֻּ讻ּ讜ֹ转. 10
And Moses commanded them, saying:
'At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
讬讗 讘ְּ讘讜ֹ讗 讻ָ诇-讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇, 诇ֵ专ָ讗讜ֹ转 讗ֶ转-驻ְּ谞ֵ讬 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ, 讘ַּ诪ָּ拽讜ֹ诐, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讬ִ讘ְ讞ָ专: 转ִּ拽ְ专ָ讗 讗ֶ转-讛ַ转ּ讜ֹ专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转, 谞ֶ讙ֶ讚 讻ָּ诇-讬ִ砖ְׂ专ָ讗ֵ诇--讘ְּ讗ָ讝ְ谞ֵ讬讛ֶ诐. 11
when all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which He shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
讬讘 讛ַ拽ְ讛ֵ诇 讗ֶ转-讛ָ注ָ诐, 讛ָ讗ֲ谞ָ砖ִׁ讬诐 讜ְ讛ַ谞ָּ砖ִׁ讬诐 讜ְ讛ַ讟ַּ祝, 讜ְ讙ֵ专ְ讱ָ, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讘ִּ砖ְׁ注ָ专ֶ讬讱ָ--诇ְ诪ַ注ַ谉 讬ִ砖ְׁ诪ְ注讜ּ 讜ּ诇ְ诪ַ注ַ谉 讬ִ诇ְ诪ְ讚讜ּ, 讜ְ讬ָ专ְ讗讜ּ 讗ֶ转-讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬讻ֶ诐, 讜ְ砖ָׁ诪ְ专讜ּ 诇ַ注ֲ砖ׂ讜ֹ转, 讗ֶ转-讻ָּ诇-讚ִּ讘ְ专ֵ讬 讛ַ转ּ讜ֹ专ָ讛 讛ַ讝ֹּ讗转. 12
Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law;
讬讙 讜ּ讘ְ谞ֵ讬讛ֶ诐 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 诇ֹ讗-讬ָ讚ְ注讜ּ, 讬ִ砖ְׁ诪ְ注讜ּ 讜ְ诇ָ诪ְ讚讜ּ--诇ְ讬ִ专ְ讗ָ讛, 讗ֶ转-讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬讻ֶ诐: 讻ָּ诇-讛ַ讬ָּ诪ִ讬诐, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讗ַ转ֶּ诐 讞ַ讬ִּ讬诐 注ַ诇-讛ָ讗ֲ讚ָ诪ָ讛, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讗ַ转ֶּ诐 注ֹ讘ְ专ִ讬诐 讗ֶ转-讛ַ讬ַּ专ְ讚ֵּ谉 砖ָׁ诪ָּ讛, 诇ְ专ִ砖ְׁ转ָּ讛ּ. {驻} 13
and that their children, who have not known, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.' {P}

And the LORD said unto Moses:
'Behold, thy days approach that thou must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tent of meeting, that I may give him a charge.'
And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tent of meeting.
讟讜 讜ַ讬ֵּ专ָ讗 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讘ָּ讗ֹ讛ֶ诇, 讘ְּ注ַ诪ּ讜ּ讚 注ָ谞ָ谉; 讜ַ讬ַּ注ֲ诪ֹ讚 注ַ诪ּ讜ּ讚 讛ֶ注ָ谞ָ谉, 注ַ诇-驻ֶּ转ַ讞 讛ָ讗ֹ讛ֶ诇. 15
And the LORD appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud; and the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the Tent.

And the LORD said unto Moses:
'Behold, thou art about to sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go astray after the foreign gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake Me, and break My covenant which I have made with them.

For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither is it far off.

Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say:
'Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?'

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil,

in that I myself command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances; then thou shalt live and multiply, and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.

But if thy heart turn away, and thou wilt not hear, and shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

I declare unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish; ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over the Jordan to go in to possess it.

And Moses went and spoke these words unto all Israel.
讘 讜ַ讬ֹּ讗诪ֶ专 讗ֲ诇ֵ讛ֶ诐, 讘ֶּ谉-诪ֵ讗ָ讛 讜ְ注ֶ砖ְׂ专ִ讬诐 砖ָׁ谞ָ讛 讗ָ谞ֹ讻ִ讬 讛ַ讬ּ讜ֹ诐--诇ֹ讗-讗讜ּ讻ַ诇 注讜ֹ讚, 诇ָ爪ֵ讗转 讜ְ诇ָ讘讜ֹ讗; 讜ַ讬讛讜ָ讛 讗ָ诪ַ专 讗ֵ诇ַ讬, 诇ֹ讗 转ַ注ֲ讘ֹ专 讗ֶ转-讛ַ讬ַּ专ְ讚ֵּ谉 讛ַ讝ֶּ讛. 2
And he said unto them:
'I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in; and the LORD hath said unto me:
Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
讙 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ 讛讜ּ讗 注ֹ讘ֵ专 诇ְ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ, 讛讜ּ讗-讬ַ砖ְׁ诪ִ讬讚 讗ֶ转-讛ַ讙ּ讜ֹ讬ִ诐 讛ָ讗ֵ诇ֶּ讛 诪ִ诇ְּ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ--讜ִ讬专ִ砖ְׁ转ָּ诐; 讬ְ讛讜ֹ砖ֻׁ注ַ, 讛讜ּ讗 注ֹ讘ֵ专 诇ְ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ, 讻ַּ讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专, 讚ִּ讘ֶּ专 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛. 3
The LORD thy God, He will go over before thee; He will destroy these masses from before thee, and thou shalt dispossess them; and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
讚 讜ְ注ָ砖ָׂ讛 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛, 诇ָ讛ֶ诐, 讻ַּ讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 注ָ砖ָׂ讛 诇ְ住ִ讬讞讜ֹ谉 讜ּ诇ְ注讜ֹ讙 诪ַ诇ְ讻ֵ讬 讛ָ讗ֱ诪ֹ专ִ讬, 讜ּ诇ְ讗ַ专ְ爪ָ诐--讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讛ִ砖ְׁ诪ִ讬讚, 讗ֹ转ָ诐. 4
And the LORD will do unto them as He did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and unto their land; whom He destroyed.
讛 讜ּ谞ְ转ָ谞ָ诐 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛, 诇ִ驻ְ谞ֵ讬讻ֶ诐; 讜ַ注ֲ砖ִׂ讬转ֶ诐 诇ָ讛ֶ诐--讻ְּ讻ָ诇-讛ַ诪ִּ爪ְ讜ָ讛, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 爪ִ讜ִּ讬转ִ讬 讗ֶ转ְ讻ֶ诐. 5
And the LORD will deliver them up before you, and ye shall do unto them according unto all the commandment which I have commanded you.
讜 讞ִ讝ְ拽讜ּ 讜ְ讗ִ诪ְ爪讜ּ, 讗ַ诇-转ִּ讬专ְ讗讜ּ 讜ְ讗ַ诇-转ַּ注ַ专ְ爪讜ּ 诪ִ驻ְּ谞ֵ讬讛ֶ诐: 讻ִּ讬 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ, 讛讜ּ讗 讛ַ讛ֹ诇ֵ讱ְ 注ִ诪ָּ讱ְ--诇ֹ讗 讬ַ专ְ驻ְּ讱ָ, 讜ְ诇ֹ讗 讬ַ注ַ讝ְ讘ֶ讱ָּ. {住} 6
Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them; for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.' {S}

讘 讜ַ讬ֹּ讗诪ֶ专 讗ֲ诇ֵ讛ֶ诐, 讘ֶּ谉-诪ֵ讗ָ讛 讜ְ注ֶ砖ְׂ专ִ讬诐 砖ָׁ谞ָ讛 讗ָ谞ֹ讻ִ讬 讛ַ讬ּ讜ֹ诐--诇ֹ讗-讗讜ּ讻ַ诇 注讜ֹ讚, 诇ָ爪ֵ讗转 讜ְ诇ָ讘讜ֹ讗; 讜ַ讬讛讜ָ讛 讗ָ诪ַ专 讗ֵ诇ַ讬, 诇ֹ讗 转ַ注ֲ讘ֹ专 讗ֶ转-讛ַ讬ַּ专ְ讚ֵּ谉 讛ַ讝ֶּ讛. 2
And he said unto them:
'I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in; and the LORD hath said unto me:
Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
讙 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ 讛讜ּ讗 注ֹ讘ֵ专 诇ְ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ, 讛讜ּ讗-讬ַ砖ְׁ诪ִ讬讚 讗ֶ转-讛ַ讙ּ讜ֹ讬ִ诐 讛ָ讗ֵ诇ֶּ讛 诪ִ诇ְּ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ--讜ִ讬专ִ砖ְׁ转ָּ诐; 讬ְ讛讜ֹ砖ֻׁ注ַ, 讛讜ּ讗 注ֹ讘ֵ专 诇ְ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ, 讻ַּ讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专, 讚ִּ讘ֶּ专 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛. 3
The LORD thy God, He will go over before thee; He will destroy these masses from before thee, and thou shalt dispossess them; and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
讚 讜ְ注ָ砖ָׂ讛 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛, 诇ָ讛ֶ诐, 讻ַּ讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 注ָ砖ָׂ讛 诇ְ住ִ讬讞讜ֹ谉 讜ּ诇ְ注讜ֹ讙 诪ַ诇ְ讻ֵ讬 讛ָ讗ֱ诪ֹ专ִ讬, 讜ּ诇ְ讗ַ专ְ爪ָ诐--讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讛ִ砖ְׁ诪ִ讬讚, 讗ֹ转ָ诐. 4
And the LORD will do unto them as He did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and unto their land; whom He destroyed.
讛 讜ּ谞ְ转ָ谞ָ诐 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛, 诇ִ驻ְ谞ֵ讬讻ֶ诐; 讜ַ注ֲ砖ִׂ讬转ֶ诐 诇ָ讛ֶ诐--讻ְּ讻ָ诇-讛ַ诪ִּ爪ְ讜ָ讛, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 爪ִ讜ִּ讬转ִ讬 讗ֶ转ְ讻ֶ诐. 5
And the LORD will deliver them up before you, and ye shall do unto them according unto all the commandment which I have commanded you.
讜 讞ִ讝ְ拽讜ּ 讜ְ讗ִ诪ְ爪讜ּ, 讗ַ诇-转ִּ讬专ְ讗讜ּ 讜ְ讗ַ诇-转ַּ注ַ专ְ爪讜ּ 诪ִ驻ְּ谞ֵ讬讛ֶ诐: 讻ִּ讬 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ, 讛讜ּ讗 讛ַ讛ֹ诇ֵ讱ְ 注ִ诪ָּ讱ְ--诇ֹ讗 讬ַ专ְ驻ְּ讱ָ, 讜ְ诇ֹ讗 讬ַ注ַ讝ְ讘ֶ讱ָּ. {住} 6
Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them; for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.' {S}
