And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

And we journeyed from Horeb, and went through all that great and dreadful wilderness which ye saw, by the way to the hill-country of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh-barnea.

And I said unto you:
'Ye are come unto the hill-country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God giveth unto us.
讻讗 专ְ讗ֵ讛 谞ָ转ַ谉 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֶ讬讱ָ, 诇ְ驻ָ谞ֶ讬讱ָ--讗ֶ转-讛ָ讗ָ专ֶ抓: 注ֲ诇ֵ讛 专ֵ砖ׁ, 讻ַּ讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 讚ִּ讘ֶּ专 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬 讗ֲ讘ֹ转ֶ讬讱ָ 诇ָ讱ְ--讗ַ诇-转ִּ讬专ָ讗, 讜ְ讗ַ诇-转ֵּ讞ָ转. 21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee; go up, take possession, as the LORD, the God of thy fathers, hath spoken unto thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.'

And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said:
'Let us send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring us back word of the way by which we must go up, and the cities unto which we shall come.'
讻讙 讜ַ讬ִּ讬讟ַ讘 讘ְּ注ֵ讬谞ַ讬, 讛ַ讚ָּ讘ָ专; 讜ָ讗ֶ拽ַּ讞 诪ִ讻ֶּ诐 砖ְׁ谞ֵ讬诐 注ָ砖ָׂ专 讗ֲ谞ָ砖ִׁ讬诐, 讗ִ讬砖ׁ 讗ֶ讞ָ讚 诇ַ砖ָּׁ讘ֶ讟. 23
And the thing pleased me well; and I took twelve men of you, one man for every tribe;
讻讚 讜ַ讬ִּ驻ְ谞讜ּ 讜ַ讬ַּ注ֲ诇讜ּ 讛ָ讛ָ专ָ讛, 讜ַ讬ָּ讘ֹ讗讜ּ 注ַ讚-谞ַ讞ַ诇 讗ֶ砖ְׁ讻ֹּ诇; 讜ַ讬ְ专ַ讙ְּ诇讜ּ, 讗ֹ转ָ讛ּ. 24
and they turned and went up into the mountains, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out.
讻讛 讜ַ讬ִּ拽ְ讞讜ּ 讘ְ讬ָ讚ָ诐 诪ִ驻ְּ专ִ讬 讛ָ讗ָ专ֶ抓, 讜ַ讬ּ讜ֹ专ִ讚讜ּ 讗ֵ诇ֵ讬谞讜ּ; 讜ַ讬ָּ砖ִׁ讘讜ּ 讗ֹ转ָ谞讜ּ 讚ָ讘ָ专, 讜ַ讬ֹּ讗诪ְ专讜ּ, 讟讜ֹ讘ָ讛 讛ָ讗ָ专ֶ抓, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专-讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬谞讜ּ 谞ֹ转ֵ谉 诇ָ谞讜ּ. 25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us back word, and said:
'Good is the land which the LORD our God giveth unto us.'

Yet ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God;
讻讝 讜ַ转ֵּ专ָ讙ְ谞讜ּ 讘ְ讗ָ讛ֳ诇ֵ讬讻ֶ诐, 讜ַ转ֹּ讗诪ְ专讜ּ, 讘ְּ砖ִׂ谞ְ讗ַ转 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֹ转ָ谞讜ּ, 讛讜ֹ爪ִ讬讗ָ谞讜ּ 诪ֵ讗ֶ专ֶ抓 诪ִ爪ְ专ָ讬ִ诐--诇ָ转ֵ转 讗ֹ转ָ谞讜ּ 讘ְּ讬ַ讚 讛ָ讗ֱ诪ֹ专ִ讬, 诇ְ讛ַ砖ְׁ诪ִ讬讚ֵ谞讜ּ. 27 and ye murmured in your tents, and said:
'Because the LORD hated us, He hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
讻讞 讗ָ谞ָ讛 讗ֲ谞ַ讞ְ谞讜ּ 注ֹ诇ִ讬诐, 讗ַ讞ֵ讬谞讜ּ 讛ֵ诪ַ住ּ讜ּ 讗ֶ转-诇ְ讘ָ讘ֵ谞讜ּ 诇ֵ讗诪ֹ专 注ַ诐 讙ָּ讚讜ֹ诇 讜ָ专ָ诐 诪ִ诪ֶּ谞ּ讜ּ, 注ָ专ִ讬诐 讙ְּ讚ֹ诇ֹ转 讜ּ讘ְ爪讜ּ专ֹ转, 讘ַּ砖ָּׁ诪ָ讬ִ诐; 讜ְ讙ַ诐-讘ְּ谞ֵ讬 注ֲ谞ָ拽ִ讬诐, 专ָ讗ִ讬谞讜ּ 砖ָׁ诐. 28
Whither are we going up? our brethren have made our heart to melt, saying:
The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.'
讻讟 讜ָ讗ֹ诪ַ专, 讗ֲ诇ֵ讻ֶ诐: 诇ֹ讗-转ַ注ַ专ְ爪讜ּ谉 讜ְ诇ֹ讗-转ִ讬专ְ讗讜ּ谉, 诪ֵ讛ֶ诐. 29
Then I said unto you:
'Dread not, neither be afraid of them.
诇 讬ְ讛讜ָ讛 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬讻ֶ诐 讛ַ讛ֹ诇ֵ讱ְ 诇ִ驻ְ谞ֵ讬讻ֶ诐, 讛讜ּ讗 讬ִ诇ָּ讞ֵ诐 诇ָ讻ֶ诐: 讻ְּ讻ֹ诇 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 注ָ砖ָׂ讛 讗ִ转ְּ讻ֶ诐, 讘ְּ诪ִ爪ְ专ַ讬ִ诐--诇ְ注ֵ讬谞ֵ讬讻ֶ诐. 30
The LORD your God who goeth before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

and in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bore thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came unto this place.
诇讘 讜ּ讘ַ讚ָּ讘ָ专, 讛ַ讝ֶּ讛--讗ֵ讬谞ְ讻ֶ诐, 诪ַ讗ֲ诪ִ讬谞ִ诐, 讘ַּ讬讛讜ָ讛, 讗ֱ诇ֹ讛ֵ讬讻ֶ诐. 32
Yet in this thing ye do not believe the LORD your God,
诇讙 讛ַ讛ֹ诇ֵ讱ְ 诇ִ驻ְ谞ֵ讬讻ֶ诐 讘ַּ讚ֶּ专ֶ讱ְ, 诇ָ转讜ּ专 诇ָ讻ֶ诐 诪ָ拽讜ֹ诐--诇ַ讞ֲ谞ֹ转ְ讻ֶ诐: 讘ָּ讗ֵ砖ׁ 诇ַ讬ְ诇ָ讛, 诇ַ专ְ讗ֹ转ְ讻ֶ诐 讘ַּ讚ֶּ专ֶ讱ְ 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 转ֵּ诇ְ讻讜ּ-讘ָ讛ּ, 讜ּ讘ֶ注ָ谞ָ谉, 讬讜ֹ诪ָ诐. 33 Who went before you in the way, to seek you out a place to pitch your tents in:
in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in the cloud by day.'
讬讞 讜ָ讗ֲ爪ַ讜ֶּ讛 讗ֶ转ְ讻ֶ诐, 讘ָּ注ֵ转 讛ַ讛ִ讜讗, 讗ֵ转 讻ָּ诇-讛ַ讚ְּ讘ָ专ִ讬诐, 讗ֲ砖ֶׁ专 转ַּ注ֲ砖ׂ讜ּ谉. 18

in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in the cloud by day.'
